Those days when I was 9 years old, I was told Italy was great team, a defending champion of the last 82 World Cup, then I heard France was favorite team - fresh from 84 European Cup glory - a team blessed with many great players including Michele Platini, Jean Tigana, Luiz Fernandez etc. Furthermore France just defeated Italy 3-1 in the quarter final. But then I heard France lost to West Germany in the semis, and I'm sure West Germany should have won the championship, since Argentina not superior as the German was. It was a complete wrong proposition after knowing Argentina defeated them 3-2 in the final. A team lead by Diego Armando Maradona.

2) For those who's know Mexico 86 World Cup, Maradona single-handedly leads Argentina through-out the tournament. I don't think Argentina would win the tournament if it's not Maradona factor. His masterclass was apparent during knock-out stage, particularly during quarter, semi and final stage of the tournament. The most notable one was in the quarter stage against England when he scored twice, first the ugliest one - using his left hand to score. Then came the second goal - the greatest one four (4) minutes later - using his magical dribbling skill, passed through several English players from middle of the field before he slotted in the ball passed Peter Shilton's goal. It was two absolute opposing character of goal scored by him in the same game - a sweet revenged against England after Argentina had just lost in Falkland War against British four (4) years earlier.

3) Again in the semis, Maradona have shown his magic by showing his dribbling skill against Belgium, where he scored twice in that game. In the final game against West Germany, his decisive pass to Jorge Burruchaga set-up Argentina's winning goal. In a nutshell, without Maradona, Argentina will never become 1986 world cup champion.

4) In my knowledge of history of World Cup, I never seen anyone that was soo influential to his team, a charismatic leader on the field and sometimes quite controversy in his character. And Maradona has that on and off the field. The beauty of his skill and talent resonated in the field, his controversies sometimes sent shiver down the spine to his teams and supporters, even to the world football fraternities - this intriguing character often fascinated us. In 1994 USA World Cup tournament, his participation ended abruptly after failing drug test. Consequently it demoralized Argentinian team - and sent them packed early in the tournament after losing in the second round stage.

5) We simply cannot compare him against Pele, both players came in different era. Pele won three (3) World Cups with Brazil where Brazilian team in his era were blessed with many talented players. In fact Pele wasn't actively participated in the 1962 World Cup due to his injury in the early stage of the tournament. While Argentina on the other hand relying heavily on Maradona to lead them in 1986 World Cup triumph. Maradona has only one world cup achievement compared to Pele three (3) times.

6) Apart from his country, Maradona also stamped his mark in Napoli - a club in southern Italy. Napoli just a modest club in Italian football compare to giant Milan, Inter or Juve in the north. But during Maradona's stint in Napoli from 1984 till 1990, the latter have won 2 scudettos and one (1) EUFA Cup and multiples domestic championships. This feat have earned him a cult status in Naples. Since he left Napoli, the latter never won scudetto again. It's no surprise Maradona still revered by the Naples people. Before he joined Napoli, he played for Barcelona and Boca Juniors in his native country.

7) To sums up his genius - Gary Lineker, Maradona's former teammate in Barcelona and was part of opposing team against Argentina in the quarter 86 World Cup has this lovely story to tell;

8) RIP Diego Armando Maradona. I'm sure your legacy will shine through hereafter, it will remain cherish among football fans around the world for generations to come. Goodbye and so long my football hero.
Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-5909168759807562852020-11-10T00:07:00.004+08:002020-11-10T09:25:19.097+08:00SUDAHKAH KITA SEDAR?

6) Kita sering mempersendakan apabila Tun Mahathir pernah menyatakan "Melayu mudah lupa".

Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-9573615748238335522020-11-08T00:50:00.000+08:002020-11-08T00:50:24.845+08:00Amazon

1) It's been years I have not updating my blog. I dont know what prompted me to pen my thought this time around. But this Amazon stuff is too irresistible for me to ignore, considering years of roller coaster journey that I going through.

2) Along the journey, its tested my patience, my dignity, my life and family and even my friendship. Since everybody busy with their own life, its make them seems do not understand your problems are. Moreover, they have their own problem too, which make even harder for them to understand it. I accept this as human factor that normally happen to everyone, including myself. If I were in their position, I might do the same (Honestly I hope not). As what Najieb said to me "I been through life" not "lived a life", to me it was like "a journey not a destination". Even how good my explanations were, I am still skeptical one can understand it, let alone sympathy on me.

3) While answering my question, Najieb said this to me - "Your wandering was like mine, I've been there. Now, I am comfortable to say I don't know but I know I have value. It is not easy to prove. But I guess I have managed to prove to some people and this is good enough. It is not going to be a lightning speed but resilience is all that is needed". Najieb then continued " I recall when I had to treat myself. I took therapy, LOA, and eventually move on and no looking back. I guess it is not how many times I fell but how many times I bounce back and true as i LOA. It keeps getting better. I mean, now, I can call people like Dato Joey and Travis as personal friends. When I was "terumbang ambing" before". He then ended "The only thing, never forget the hard times. Never forget the experiences gained and move forward. Once you have moved on. You look back, you will understand what I mean". Thanks for this advice Najieb.

4) Come back to this Amazon. What Najieb and I agree were - this E-commerce business is a way forward - that surely benefit to those embrace and make used of its potential in very beginning. When Covit-19 pandemic struck, it's not only send shiver down the spine on entire populations of the world, but it's also hasten the E-commerce business growth. You may look what those technological companies posted their financial result were, and see how much Amazon financial performance was. Their shares and profits improve by leap and bound since then. Najieb have seen this trending quite sometimes now, and I sees the same either.

5) I have been wandering what kind of business that suited me. Is it technological and engineering business that I am looking? Or F&B / catering that I and my wife doing right now? Honestly I don't know. Along the way, when thing starts crumbling - I decided to coming back to work as salaried worker. While searching for works, Najieb came and invited me to join on board in his journey with Amazon. After long thought and discussed with wife, I decided to be on board with him.

6) Najieb went to Singapore learning this Amazon since he was working with government then, he sees Amazon's potential for future endeavor apart from investing in crypto currency simultaneously. When PH's government fell, he losses his job, by that time he has too many stuff on his plate. Initially he engaged with one young fellow to help him out, but that guy seems lacking in tenacity and unmotivated since this work are quite tedious and resilience.

7) Me on the other hand, are quite okay, and have little experiences in the past. Furthermore, it doesn't affect my time in operating my restaurant. With little bit of skill on other thing, I was able to complement Najieb's lacking on other area, in achieving our common goal.

8) As I am writing this piece, we are still in midst of getting our products registered with Amazon. We anticipated this from beginning - expected this bumpy road prior registering with Amazon. It requires resilient and patience to overcome it - and sadly to say - qualities that wannabe entrepreneurs are lacking most, particularly among those searching for quick return - sadly to notes it happen most to Malays. If one can honestly and thoroughly analyze what are the reasons behind Malay's lacking in economic pie after 41 years of introduction of NEP - these were one of the contributing factors - an attributes that resides in the head of many Malay entrepreneurs.

9) I am lucky since Najieb could see bigger picture, and sees the potential of American market could provide. And he knew it from his Singaporean coaches who's generously enough to share their experiences and even helping us to achieve similar goal. At the same time, he got Travis Marziani's guidance, who are quite successful Amazon's seller in America. So basically we have 2 set of guidance from 2 different regions, that certainly would provide meaningful ideas and guidance to us Insha'Allah.

10) As I explains above, this piece is basically just a skeleton of our common goal. I hope I could elaborate more details in the future piece once we reach next level. There's still long way to go - a bumpy road ahead of course. I hope we remain perseverance, Insha'Allah.
Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-80900245059544456782016-11-11T01:59:00.000+08:002016-11-11T01:59:21.365+08:00What's Wrong with Us?1) I had a long chat with my usual friend Najieb Mokhtar regarding our society polemic, it is about a societal disease that we do not know it root cause. The disease called "mudah lupa" that seems has no cure and vaccination.

2) Our conversation started, when I was asking his opinion, when seeing Singaporean politicians remain alerted and do not derailed from original path setted-out by their founding farther, the late Lee Kuan Yew. Even though they were on the upper-hand, they still remain competitive against us. I asked him, what are the value system they embraced, is it because the culture that existed for thousand years or anything else? Let's put aside the feeling insecure, since they were minority in terms of populations and geographical locations, surrounded by Malay archipelago islands, which naturally would create a feeling of insecure and very alert by the surrounding environments. But if we want to put aside Singapore due to it geographical location and racial population, why other developed countries such as Germany, Japan, USA etc, not having the same polemic like us? To me they are the one who's should derailed as they have developed earlier than Singapore, furthermore their geographical location and racial population are not the same as Singapore had. And again the same answer uttered "We have a disease, a societal disease, and it is called 'mudah lupa'". He reiterated "When we acknowledge it as such, it will be easier to heal it. Just like "melatah", it is also societal. Not many bangsa has 'melatah'". Unfortunately, for thousand of years, we never had the initiative to find the cure of "mudah lupa", why, could it be because we are succumbing (redha), fated (takdir), putus asa etc. He answered again "I do not know, but since we do not have the initiative to correct (heal), we remained the same. Unlike other society. Perhaps it could be our inferiority complex, led to accepting the disease a normal and carry on life as usual i.e. neglecting it. Over time we lose the race when other races has thrived.

3) If we look at Japan and Korea, I can understand the effects from the value system they embrace. Korea were on the same par as us in the 70's, but their economy progressing by leaps and bounds since then. Japan's economy on the other hand were dilapidated after loosing WWII, but progressing tremendously after that. These two countries have no mineral resources at their's disposal, they have only human capital to count on. But they still can progress and develop, in fact they fared better than us. Why? The culture that Japanese embrace and similar value system embrace by Korean, that derived from the same culture as Japan called Bushido. I think this piece of article from China Daily Newspaper which I copied on February 7, 2016 is relevant for reader to understand the Japanese business culture that's having strong sense of purpose and placing values like diligence before profits. This culture resides in the Japanese society/culture for thousand years already.

4) I am argued to him, saying Tun also doesn't really find medicine to cure this disease. Tun diagnosed the symptom, but doesn't found the cure. His initiatives and policies i.e. Look East Policy, Buy British Last etc., doesn't produced tangible result. He even spoke about Muslims are no longer follow Islamic teaching as enshrined in the Quran. We were too busy dealing tactical matters than having strategic thinking. Eventually we loose focus and left behind by other races. Mahathir have tried to implement this, unfortunately it failed to produce a tangible result, and leadership after him made the situation even worst. Ironically these values now embraced by the non Muslims. He talk about our education system that do not emphasis the right values that should create quality students and graduates, that should eventually will contribute back to the society - not that kind of student who's know how to pass the exam only.

5) Najieb answered, "Tun diagnosed and he knew, but the number of people against him outweight his single effort. Why are these people against him. It's the Malay disease. He can only contain the disease and that was when he was in power. Now the disease is an epidemic and he's without power. I do not touch on religion because society today is hypocrite. But you can see, when the disease is not cured and contained, even corruption is rampant....We are very Jewish i.e. degil (recalcitran indeed)".

6) Our conversation end there, but our mind remain clueless. And this has led me to ask readers out there - your opinions and suggestions on what should we do to eradicate this pandemic. Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-70742861528048175092016-09-10T02:23:00.000+08:002016-09-15T07:51:10.999+08:00Dari UMNO Keturunan ke BERSATU

UMNO Keturunan

Insyaallah. Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-52890717509697304352016-07-16T16:38:00.000+08:002016-07-16T16:38:19.168+08:00Survival 1) A friend of mine contacted me, asking on my opinion on current damaging political scenario, happening in our country. He's clearly doesn't agree with the decision to invite DAP in the coalition to topple BN in the next GE.

2) I have told him, I'm too disagree for a new political party forming alliance with DAP, knowing the latter were strong opponent of NEP, and promoting Malaysian Malaysia mooted by their predecessor PAP. But current reality that struck our economic and political climate require radical approaches in combating corrupted BN.

3) We are in between the devil and the deep blue sea. And we have no option other than have to choose the less detrimental between the two, and clearly we don't have other option at the moment. As what Tun Dr M said, who's should be PM after Najib is secondary. At the moment our mind and focus should concentrate on removing Najib from his current post.

4) Since all doors through UMNO/BN and legislative assembly has been shutdown by Najib and his cronies. The citizen then resorted through citizen declaration lead by Tun Dr M, to push our king to step-in in pushing Najib to step down. However looking at current scenario, it seems this way going to be resulted in vain either. That is why, the idea of forming new political party to rival BN in the next GE came into mind. And knowing Tun Dr M - giving-up is not in his vocabulary, he will find every ways and means to make it happen. It was same during Asian financial crisis in 1997-1998, where various methods were implemented by previous administration lead Dr M to overcome currency speculators from destroying our economy. Eventually government came with unorthodox approach by pegging RM against USD. This approach wasn't in line with general consensus of world top financial theorist of that time. Even George Soros acknowledged that we were wright in pegging RM. Tun Dr M never quiet from being in the spot light due to his maverick approaches and decisions in politic and leadership. He would not afraid in taking dangerous way with calculated risk in mind.

5) Going back into current scenario, forming a new political party to rival BN is not surprising if we understood para 4 mentioned above. This is the quality of former medical doctor cum politician. As what I told him (my friend), at the moment we should think about our survival first. Who should lead our nation after Najib is secondary, learn from Indonesia and Philipines fate where the corruption was so rampant until it's hard for these countries to develop since the corruption has slipped-through their social fabric already. Are we ready to accept Greece fate befall on us? Definitely we don't, the affect would be too catastrophic, and therefore we have to act now before it's too late.

6) The problem with our society is, we are too tactical until we forget main objective. Our mind and focus should concentrate on main objective which is our survival and future generations, PERIOD. Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-76208321136971299302016-04-20T00:44:00.000+08:002016-04-20T00:44:57.933+08:00Nationalism & Paradigm Shift1) The history of the past during early 20th century and after WWII have taught us that 2 dominant ideologies i.e. the western capitalism and eastern socialism / communism, were the main tools used by politicians to garner support from the people. Russian revolution in 1917 has resulted big influence throughout European continent, and spread into Asia. This revolution resulted the fallen of Russian monarchy. And some of the Asian coutries including China have followed the same footstep or at least allaying themselves to this ideology. Meanwhile the other part of the western European supporting capitalism.

2) The magnitude of this hostility spread into our political and social landscape. It gave a new dynamism among Malay society to up against British colony. The majority of these Malay nationalist united under UMNO banner against British Malayan Union, while certain minority of Malays coalesced under PKM (Parti Komunis Malaya) banner. Despite the differences, one could not deny that the level of patriotism among these leaders is higher. They were separated by the ideology only.

3) If you look at Malaysia's history prior and after independence, one can't deny that these 2 ideologies has dominated the early struggle of independence by our fore-father. The British created act ISA (Internal Security Act) was enacted to prevent communism / socialism influence among society. It has resulted the jailing of some communism / socialism sympathisers under this act in Singapore and Malaysia.

4) Those who's came from this era, were hard on their principle, would not easily give-up even if it might detrimental their own health. It has been examplied by the Tun Dr Mahathir, at 91 years old he's still active in defending people right and the country he love, despite reaching twilight years of his time. He neither stand any personal gain nor loosing anything if he chose to stay quiet. We as a young generation should feel ashamed to ourselves by this old man.

5) Tun Dr Mahathir, while still in power has wrote in one of his book (which I can't remember which one), the idea to eradicate corruption, that one have to instil a patriotism spirit within it society. And politicians must also embrace this value, in order to keep country's society and economic remain healthy - free from corruption. If these values embraced, one would not hesitate to sacrifice own believe and principle, willing to step down just for the sake of the country they love. An instance that do not occur present-day.

6) Looking at psychology point of view, our society need a paradigm shift that similar to Malayan Union time or independence day. A state of safety net being removed and our own future at stake in jeopardy, might initiate this kind paradigm shift within our society.

7) In fact Tun Dr Mahathir in one of his speech during UMNO general assembly has warned Malays about not to be forgetful, which famously described as "Melayu Mudah Lupa". Nevertheless Malays remain forgetful, therefore I think paradigm shift is required to remind Malays that their future are at stake presently. Otherwise they will remain forgetful.

I think its good to read and share among ourselves. The author is China Daily's bureau chief in Tokyo Ms Cao Hong. Enjoy reading;

COMPANIES LOVE BY HAVING STRONG SENSE OF PURPOSE AND PLACING VALUES LIKE DILIGENCE BEFORE PROFITS

Japanese people have the longest life expectancy in the world - 84 years, according to the World Health Organization, or to be precise, about 80 years for men and 87 for women.

The island nation is also home to around 40 percent of the world's longest-surviving businesess - the highest globally. A 2011 survey by the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry showed Japan had 21,666 business that were more than 100 years old, and 3,146 of them had been around for more than 200 years.

In fact, quite a few flourishing Japanese family businesses can trace their origins to the 17th or 18th century. They include Mitsui, Sumitomo and department store chain Daimaru. Mitsubishi and Suzuki, founded in the 19th century, are much younger in comparison.

The latest story of succession is about Japan's electronics manufacturer Casio. Its 86-year-old president Kazuo Kashio will hand the reigns of power to his eldest son Kazuhiro Kashio in June after staying at the helm for 27 years.

According to the US-based Family Business Institute, 30 percent of family businesses survive into the second generation, 12 percent continue into the third generation and only 3 percent make it into the fourth generation and beyond.

So what has enabled so many of Japan's old-world companies to continue doing business this long?

My recent trip to Kyoto helped me find part of the answer.

In his office and at his home, Kizaemon Tsukamoto, president of Kyoto-based Tsukaki Group, was proud to present scrolls with credo the encourages family members to accumulate "merit" to benefit their descendants.

The statement is from I Ching, or Book of Changes, an ancient Chinese masterpiece the says the cosmos is ever-changing yet harmonious. Today, the book has become a guide for success in many fields.

The scrolls has been passed down to Tsukamoto, the sixth-generation keeper of the family-run business founded in 1867, from earlier generations. The company that started as kimono maker has grown into major enterprise dealing in garments, fir, jewellery and real estate.

A museum on the outskirts of Kyoto exhibits the credos of may local business families. They share many values in common: Frugality, diligence, honest, restraint and sharing. These values are the basis of a strong corporate culture that unites the old companies, which earnestly live by the tenets instead of just highlighting them on their websites.

Such old companies are cohesive in their practice and have strong sense of purpose and identity.

By viewing their relationships with business partners and customers as something that goes beyond just an exchange of goods and services for financial gains, these companies have built supportive networks that have ensured their success, not just survival, in the long run.

These companies usually believe in leanness and efficiency, which could be termed frugality. They are conservative in terms of financing and do not risk their capital gratuitously. They understand the meaning of money in an old-fashioned way and know the value of having spare cash in the kitty.

Having cash in had gives them flexibility and independence of action. They can pursue options that their competitors cannot. They can grasp opportunities without first having to convince third-party financiers of their attractiveness.

Conservative financial practices also mean these companies tend to be very profitable. Studies done years ago showed the average net profit of old Japanese companies was 5.5 percent while that of all Japanese companies was 2.7 percent.

In Tsukamoto's words, businesses that treat their employees, customers, suppliers and the local community well can live and thrive long.

"Profitability is necessary condition for their existence and a means to more important ends, but it is not the end in itself" says Yohei Nakanori, the fourth-generation president of Tsukiji Tama Sushi, a restaurant founded in Tokyo in 1924.

Japan's century-old companies know the value of making their credos, passion and entrepreneurial skills and prowess a part of their DNA, and they cherish and protect it, as well as built upon it.

Of course, some have not succeeded, and others are struggling.

Founded in 578 AD, Japanese temple builder Kongo Gumi was being run by the founder's descendant s until it succumbed to excessive debts and an unfavourable business climate in 2006.

Different management styles have fueled a family feud at Japanese furniture retailer Otsuka Kagu. Its 71-years-old chairman, Katsuhisa Otsuka, who founded the business in 1969, focused on high end customers.

His eldest daughter, Kumiko Otsuka, took over the company as its president in 2009 with sights on the mass market. During her 5 years tenure, the business returned to profitability in 2011 for the first time since the 2008 financial crisis.

But the senior Otsuka fired his daughter in July last year. The company board reappointed her in January while the shareholders voted for her on March 27.

The latest sentiment reading of small Japanese businesses has slumped to two-year low as the weaker yen continues to weight on smaller, domestic-oriented companies, while benefiting the nation's biggest exporters.

The number of Japanese companies citing the weaker yen among the reasons for going bankrupt almost tripled in 2014 to 301 as fast-rising costs of imports squeezed small businesses, according to Teikoku Databank. It expects more such bankruptcies, especially outside large cities.

In this sense, the old companies could serve as valuable example for the younger ones.
And looking at this, we can conclude about how is Najib's thinking - does he not worry that one day he will fall, one by one god has shown to us all the evidences of his blunders on 2.6B donation and 1MDB fiasco. Actually there's nothing to hide anymore - like Anwar Ibrahim, Najib himself having thick skin too.

2) If you watching movie American Gangster, played by Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. The method employs is same with Najib approaches in politics. All the enforcement officers in NYPD were bribed by drug mafia. The drug lord have set aside funds to bribe all these police officers in order to facilitate their unlawful activities. In the context of our current political issue, 1MDB fund was used to help to facilitate Najib political agenda. Therefore, it wasn't surprise all the politicians either in UMNO or BN parliament representatives or even opposing side, seems reluctant or lacking political will to oppose all the wrong doing's of PM.

3) Eventually we the people who's voted in recent GE, will be the victims of the fraud made by our chosen leaders. Today's politic is not about fighting for the people right or being the voice of the people they representing. Today's politic is about personal agenda - lust for power and enriching oneself.

4) I'm sure all of us missed all first 4 PM leaderships dearly. The era that we stood by our own, stand by our own feet, speak our mind freely without influence from anyone else - a pride of our own-self. Now we have lost all of these spirit and pride - the disunity among all races also became larger, Malays being the centre of unity among all races also dividing - corrupted by the lust for money and power of it leaders. We Malaysians have no one to look at.

5) The small fragments of sincere leaders were casted away, they have no more power or influence, let alone follower to support. Consequently UMNO/BN become irrelevant and eventually people will turn against them in the next GE.

6) However the situation will not improve even if oppositions rule this country. Why? Because each party in the opposition pact have no common agenda and direction. Most of the time they were in contradicting opinion and cannot work together. The people will caught in between - and have no other option to choose from. The future look very bleak for us and generation to come.

7) Nevertheless PLEASE DON'T LOOSE HOPE AND REMAIN DILIGENT AND PERSEVERANCE IN OUR STRUGGLE AGAINST THE WRONG DOING OF OUR LEADERS EITHER BY CURRENT OR OPPOSING SIDE.

Najib do not have right quality / character in leadership - too soft, always playing safe, sprinkling money to buy loyalty and popularity, which he said CASH IS KING. Unlike (Tun) Dr Mahathir who's like debating and answering questions raised. His approaches in allowing dissent within and outside party actually have allowed him succeeded in his political endeavour. In other words, Najib approaches was short sighted, would not last long.

Najib do not have Malay blood in his vein, he just lucky having a late father who was founding father of his nation and his own party. He built his political ascendency through his late father influence and Malay feudalism character of loyalty without questioning.

Najib was also wasn't seen as a true political fighter that fighting for his own people interest, furthermore this 1MDB polemic have tarnished his reputation and widening public perception towards him as a corrupt leader.

Najib also failed to quash public perception towards his wife - he was seen under control of his wife (queen control), which every leaders must avoid in order to be seen as a credible leader to the nation and people he representing.

Najib decision to remove those internal dissenters will only brought in disaster for his political mileage. Eventually the messages from the grassroots will not reaching his ear, will be filtered by his apple polishers who's cares only their self interest - this wasn't in line with democratic principle.

Najib have elephant in the room of 1MDB polemic that currently under public scrutiny. Everyday new discoveries exposed to the public either deliberately or inadvertently. The more he's trying to conceal it, more evident exposed. It's remind me of Sir Isaac Newton 3rd law of motion - For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action - the current political crisis fits that bill.

Najib have ruined this country, there's no turning back to bring back the reputation he once have, therefore his resignation inevitable. In fact the magnitude of this offence requires punishment. If you look back the history of Daim Zainuddin in politic, Daim was asked to leave on the basis of the public perception that was detrimental to the party, even though there's no evident to prove his misconduct or misdeed. Nevertheless Daim stepped down voluntarily without any drama or controversy. Maybe some of us forgotten to remember that (Tun) Dr Mahathir himself has stepped down voluntarily, this is lead by example that he have taught us all this while.

Benarlah apa yang pernah diucapkan oleh bekas president Amerika Abraham Lincoln " nearly all men can overcome adversity, but if you to test a man's character, give him power".

Aku membesar mempertuankan orang asing
Terhina dan dihina
Bangsa yang serba kekurangan
Tinggal dipondok berbumbung atap nipah
Berdinding, berlantai kayu
Namun aku lebih bahagia dari ramai bangsaku
Mereka tinggal di pondok robek, tiris apabila hujan
Tanpa pili air tanpa lampu letrik
Anak mereka berkaki ayam, berkudis
Demam panas dan kadang-kadang meninggal
Aku survive, aku ke sekolah, aku ke universiti
Nasib aku lebih baik
Allah Subhanahu Wataala kesian kepada aku
Setelah dijajah oleh satu bangsa, dijajah pula oleh dua bangsa lagi
Aku bertanya akan bangsaku selalunya dijajah orangkah?
Alhamdullilah, berkat kesedaran, berkat perjuangan, berkat perpaduan
Bangsaku dibebas, merdeka
Apakah merdeka hanya bermakna tidak dijajah orang
Apakah merdeka bermakna terus merana
Tidak, tidak, tidak
Merdeka bermakna kemajuan
Kemajuan sehingga berdiri sama tinggi

Hak memilih, hak mengundi
Wahai bangsaku
Begitu mudahkah kamu lupa
Aku akan pergi tidak lama lagi
Dapatkah aku pejam mata dan hembus nafas terakhir
Kerana bangsaku
Negaraku
Masih mulia
Masih bermaruah
Masih dipandang tinggi
Atau mataku terbeliak
Nafasku tersesak, terhenti, kerana segala yang diperjuangkan luput ditelan nafsu
Ya Allah lindungilah bangsaku
Sedarkanlah mereka
Mengubah sendiri, membendung nafsu
Kerana Allah
Kerana agama
Kerana bangsa
Kerana negara
Biarlah aku pergi
Mata terpejam rapat
Nafas perlahan berhenti…

DR MAHATHIR BIN MOHAMAD

3) Terdapat 2 objektif yang ingin aku capai apabila membuat keputusan untuk menghantar anak aku belajar di Smart Readers kid;

1) Recently my colleague have discussion on the acceptance of LGBT in the public realm. As a hard devotee of Catholic, a friend of mine clearly unfavored to the acceptance of LGBT in public domain, using her belief in Catholicism and teaching, she failed to convince my other colleague on her stand.

2) In parallel with general opinion on this issue, I have my own point against this LGBT, on the pretext of their demands to be accepted by the public on the basis of their human right. Is their right to be a gay or lesbian or transgender, I have no problem with that to be honest as long as it's do not detrimental to our society at large.

3) But its also become my concern when this minority start demanding their right to be accepted by the public. Clearly it wasn't down well to the public, and will create public unrest, since it wasn't suit to our general public/social customs.

4) To me when a certain group or individuals or minority demanding their right to be accepted by the majority, it was a sign of arrogance of extremism by the minority, and the majority of moderate of course will feel their right are in jeopardy, then the social unrest would occur.

5) First of all, the public must understand why this LGBT is no good to our social. When the British law started to accept gay marriage, the British people would gonna have problem in the future. It shows the British parliament now succumbed to LGBT extremist demands. It's means the right of the moderates now under treat, and in the end will create a social unrest in the next 20 to 50 years.

6) I can't imagine what would happen to Elton John son when he grew older. Definitely he would become confused when discovering his mother have the same gender with his farther, contradicted to the majority of general parenthood. This is the social problem that Islam and other religions against, because it would create havoc to our society. This sort of reason never been explained by our religious preachers, apart from explaining that it was forbidden in Islam.

7) That is why Islam advocates moderation, and against extremism, because of negative impact that would occur when the extremism rule the world. Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-20902335980872476342015-07-05T23:18:00.003+08:002015-07-05T23:18:47.104+08:00Najib's Days are Numbered1) I would like to look into philosophical view on controversies surrounding DS Najib right now.

2) Everybody knows that mainstream media's i.e. TV3, RTM, Utusan Melayu etc are being used to defend Najib reputation in the public eye. Tun Mahathir was singled out as main enemy and character assassinations being carry out by these media's. Everything related to Tun M, from Proton, Tun Daim, Tun M sons etc being used to tarnish Tun M reputation. Even personalities from opposition parties were called to provide their version of stories to fulfil their wicked lust. Theory of conspiracy [same like Anwar Ibrahim] - were using to denigrate Tun M reputation.

3) Substantial amount of monies in the name of BR1M, and funding to UMNO bloggers and political comrades. Positions either in politic or corporate sector were granted to those who can give their blind supports in order to safeguard and reinforce his political power [the same approach carried out by Anwar Ibrahim]. It is no surprise to see MT UMNO, UMNO division heads and cabinet ministers have given their blind support - even though the magnitude of his offence was crystal clear. If you watching berita TV3, the large amount of time were concentrating to counter attack Tun M. But the real issues of higher living cost, GST etc that fall upon people were never or given very limited time.

4) Please read all the mainstream newspapers, from KJ till Zahid Hamidi, all of them are busy defending Najib. The public grouse on the affect of GST, are never considered or given less highlight. All ministers are busy safeguarding their positions, forgetting their true responsibility in representing their own people or constituency.

5) I can understand Tun M feeling or concern after miscalculating, choosing the wrong person to lead our country, from Anwar Ibrahim, Pak Lah till Najib, all of them failed to fulfil their duty as a leader of this country. That is why he refuse to throw his support to Tan Sri Muhyiddin to be a PM, furthermore TS Muhyiddin seems uninterested to move up higher than his current position despite being asked in several occasions.

6) Every time Najib spin doctor up the ante, spinning the stories to damaging Tun M credibility, the bad karma will curse on him instead. Now out of the blue, WSJ came out with damaging story of USD700 million related to 1MDB transferred into Najib personal account. I don't know how true this story is, but certainly it wasn't good for our country image, which will further hampering foreign direct investment and devaluing our currency. Eventually rakyat going to bare the brunt, not Najib.

7) The only way to end this fiasco and catastrophe, is by releasing Najib from his current duty as PM of Malaysia.
1) My colleague a hard devotee of Catholism, who occasionally will have bible study with her church friends. They would discuss and understand the teaching brought through their "words of GOD" in Bible.

2) This has remind me of how about my fellow Muslims, are they do the same thing? - reading Quran and understand our "words of GOD". Why I am asking this? It is because our Muslims world too much confine ourselves in understanding the teaching of ustaz / Islamic preachers until neglecting the main teaching of Islam brought through our Quran. Consequently it has produced too much confusion and branches, resulting deviation by some our brothers.

3) We may forget what Quran has taught us, that all Muslims are brothers. This basic teaching taught in Quran is no longer followed. And yet we are more believe to the teaching of our ustaz / preachers than the Quran itself, resulting disunity within our Muslims world.

4) GOD will not change the fate of His believers unless they change it. Understanding this would allow us accepting the fate that befall upon us. Maybe we can learn something from this about how to run a business and the knowledge of how to run a country economy and a little bit of politics.
2) I have very limited knowledge about Daim all this while, until I found this video footages which quite interesting where Daim briefed his early days in school, business and politics. This video footages more or less has proved my sentiment about Daim all this while, I like him for what he has contributed to this country and his story proved that. These informations shared could useful for our current leadership, but I sceptic they would. Bustanul Beyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12354688210204186770noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1004406720174793977.post-87378997093303243532015-03-29T02:41:00.002+08:002015-03-29T02:41:09.274+08:00DrM and LKY1) Since LKY passing, I was reading on the history of Singapore and Malaysia after gaining independence from British. Generally most of South East Asian countries relatively new, were just gained independence from European colonists. It was an era of socialism vs capitalism and nationalism among most of the people. An era of each party represent their own nationalist agenda which UMNO representing Malay, PAP with their own Malaysian Malaysia. Even socialism and communism were promoted among certain quarters, notably left wing of early Utusan Melayu journalists.

2) LKY started his political career by having close contact with early leaders of Utusan Melayu. It's been exemplified when Yusuf Ishak (Utusan co-founder) was appointed as first president of Singapore. LKY is man of charisma with sheer determination, non nonsense approaches and using his iron grip approach to combat communism among its people. Clearly Singapore at that time really needs this type of leadership, otherwise Singapore might in ruins forever and will never be like today.

3) Consequently some his close friends during his early days in politic either were arrested and jailed or walked away. When the country was still fragile state after gaining independence, Malaysia and Singapore really need a single minded with an iron-fisted leadership. Otherwise Singapore or Malaysia cannot prosper and forever will be in the state of unrest.

4) As a person born in 1977 and started knowing this world when DrM already became PM of Malaysia, I am grateful and proud to have him as my PM. Growing up in 2 decades under the safe hand of DrM leadership is sorely missed - the fact that 2 leaderships after him failed to replicate.

5) After read the history of young Malaysia and Singapore, those leaders were so nationalist and pragmatist and not idealistic. They were up against socialism and communism proponents, but not subscribes capitalism blindly - it is a sheer pragmatism of the past leadership.

6) If current leadership, particularly current PM regards DrM as his mentor, he should follow this footstep. Look at what we have right now, do we in the state of stability politically and economically? No we don't, why is this thing happen? It is because of weak leadership and thirsty for political mileage that pitted us in this polemic. Most of decisions were made just for political mileage but lacked in long terms benefit. Thus it wasn't surprising BR1M was distributed to most of Malaysian in the hope it can be translated in real votes to BN in election - a bribe that failed in bringing votes to BN. Clearly it was a slap in the face to PM - that should wake him up from in the state of denial.

7) Series of blunders were made either by him or by his subordinate leaders. Most of all is 1MDB fiasco will never be easily forgotten and will resides in the people minds until next GE, and BN will bear the brunt - not the PM and his subordinate leaders. In the end people will also bear the brunt - not the politicians of both divides.

8) To lend LKY quote which described his strong minds;

“I ignore polling as a method of government. I think that shows a certain weakness of mind - an inability to chart a course whichever way the wind blows, whichever way the media encourages the people to go, you follow. If you can't force or are unwilling to force your people to follow you, with or without threats, you are not a leader.” – Lee Kuan Yew.

9) DrM probably more humane than LKY, but both of them are pragmatists with single minded approaches. A product of the past era that truly love their countries by giving their whole life devotions unconditionally. Berikut dinyatakan fakta - fakta beliau:

1) AFF Suzuki cup just ended. Malaysia ending this year tournament as runner up to Thailand.

2) There are several weakness shown by Harimau Malaya squad during the tournament such as:

Players lacked in fitness, they cannot withstand full 90 minutes - The result of all games against Thailand proved that.

To much dependence on old timer/senior players, due to no potential new comers/young players.

3) To make matter even worst, FAM decided to changes limit on foreign players, see here. This decision was made after FAM succumbed to the demands from clubs and state teams to field 4 foreign players simultaneously. The reason given, to increase competition for local players, thereby will produce bunch of good quality of local players which eventually will benefit our national team.

4) However since the arrival of foreign players in our national league, we have seen most of clubs and state teams fielding foreign players in most important department i.e. forward, defend etc. Thus have affected our national team in 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup. Hence left Dollah Salleh with short of options, that requiring him to rely on senior players who are in the twilight of their carrier. In all 4 games against young side of Thailand, Harimau Malaya fell in the dying time - even though sometimes fared better than Thailand.

5) FAM have made a lot of mistakes in the past, hence impede the development of our national football. Again FAM seems making another mistake after another. They never learn the past mistake, and continuously heading yet another spiral downward.

bawah payung parti DAP.
ditolak, mengakibatkan iklim politik Malaysia kembali panas seperti sebelum
tragedi 19 Mei.

kalangan orang Islam.
