Where We Are and Where We Heading to
1) The issue of congregation of several pastors from Sarawak in Penang recently would definitely will put our racial and religion segregation into the deepen. It is indeed unbecoming situation and will put another blow into already hostile relation among races and religions in the country. That mater has persisted since general election in 2008, where the current government is perceived weak. To worsen this already fragile relationship, Perkasa has made the police report throughout country, demanding police to investigate the allegedly meeting as highlighted by Big Dog and Marahku blog.
2) To find the root caused of the whole episode, first and foremost, one should do is to find the role being played by every political parties, whether from opposition or ruling party. The failure to introduce vision school plus with PAS political motto to introduce the so-called Islamic country [according to their own interpretation], has contributed dearly to our racial and religious division. It was further boosted by the introduction of Islam Hadhari by previous government. To my best understanding, these are the roots causes.
3) These things happen when UMNO decided to brand our country as so-called Islamic country in order to compete with PAS brand of Islamic country by neglecting the true Islamic values which are supposed to be the main pillar of the country.
4) One must remember, the citizenship of this country is not comprising Muslims community alone, but its also comprising other Non-Muslims either. Last two weeks ago, I had visited Balik Pulau in Penang, during my journey, I has pass through Ayer Hitam town, which predominately are Chinese inhabitant. While moving along the main road of Ayer Hitam town, I had came across two large Churches which sitting opposite by each other, divided by the main road. What has caught my eye is, how come these same religions have the two churches sitting near within the same location. Soon afterwards, I realized its was for two different sects of Christianity, one is for Catholic, while the other one is for Protestant followers. In Islam, the two and more different sects still can performs their religious indictment within the same mosque and the same time.
5) I am not sure, whether these churches would be filled-up during their Friday till Sunday congregation prayer. But I am guess, its just a branding to show their existence in Malaysia. For your info, this are what PAS currently doing, a matter of branding to show how pious and religious they are than the rest of other fellow Muslims. As I mentioned above and during previous post, Islam is not about the look or branding, but it is about the way of life, the faith of our tawhid. If I am not mistaken, there were certain factions of Protestant called the Navigator also preaching the same value and opposing the preaching brought by the Catholic.
6) Its really annoying to see PAS government of Kelantan introducing the Jawi road signboard as to show to the whole world that they are more Islamic than the rest of other states. If I am not mistaken, there was a mosque lookalike Buddha temple in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan built by the PAS government under Nik Aziz rule to capture Chinese voters against MCA. It was meant to show that the Islamic of PAS ruled state of Kelantan is inclusive to other Non-Muslims either. What we did not realized is that, the impression among the Non-Muslims of the self impose of Islamic rituals upon the Non-Muslims. Therefore, it is not surprising to see the Newton third law of strong action would create strong reaction afterward. To see UMNO follow the PAS footstep, has shows how stupid we are.
7) One must remember the history of Islamic spreading during our Prophet Muhammad SAW, Khalifah Ar-Rashidun and the subsequent Islamic empire after that. During those days, Islam was not spread by sword or force imposition, instead Islam was spread by preaching the right values of Islam that it is the way of life and the faith of the tawhid. The clear example is our nation history, there was no blood feud occurs when Malays started to embrace Islam brought by Arab and Indian Muslim traders during 12th century. It was all due to good values brought by these traders. Unlike to Philippine history, the Christian missionary has used physical forces when imposing their Christianity among the Filipinos during Spanish colonial era. Otherwise, we could see the Philippines of today would remain in Islamic hands.
8) The whole polemic also remind me the issue of UITM Dungun, Terengganu student who became apostate, he had openly declared renounce from Islam and embraced Christianity, but later return to Islam after serving one week in detention centre as ordered by Syarie High Court. My question is, aren't this poor young boy really re-embraced Islam fullheartly and faithfully? Can anyone answer this question? Can anyone prove to me that they have seen his heart is already return to Islam?
9) I am not intent to belittle to our Islamic religious authority approaches in dealing this matter, but the approaches taken simply not matching with the approaches taken by the Christian missionary. The Christian missionary was able to tackle his heart and soul, while the Islamic religious authority using force imposing against this poor boy. It is simply will make Islam is unattractive to this boy. It shows we have made an u-turn, contradict to the approaches of Islamic preaching during our prophet days and subsequent Islamic empire after that. It shows that the Christian missionary has learned from our Islamic history, while we on the other hands have chose the other way round. How poor we are.

Kuala Muda Flood Mitigation Project
1) I just came back from my hometown, Kuala Muda, Kedah. As you may or may not know, the federal government through Jabatan Parit dan Saliran [JPS] or Drainage and Irrigation Department currently constructing a huge flood mitigation project along Muda River stretching from upstream Sik of Kedah till the downstream of Kota Kuala Muda, the border between Kedah and Penang . The cost for the construction of this project worth almost to 1 billion [probably].
2) I do not interested to highlight some kind of corruption or under table money might be used or whatsoever, what I do interested to elaborate here is, about the benefit of Kedahan and Penangites would get after a very long anguish and problem due to water spilling from Muda river during monsoon rain.
3) To solve this problem, the federal government of BN had come out with this huge initiative to its people. Unfortunately these same people of Kuala Muda decided to ignore this contribution by voting opposition parties during recent GE. How ungrateful they were.
4) It is true what had Tun Dr. M said "Malays Forget Easily", sometimes they would not only forget, but willing to bite the fingers that feed them. That is true Malay.

Bahasa & Agama - Dua Perkara yg Berbeza?
1) The Star telah melaporkan bahawa isu bahasa dan agama merupakan dua perkara yg berbeza. Dalam hujahnya Wong Chun Wai telah menyatakan ulama UMNO dan PAS bersetuju bahawa terjemahan kitab Injil kedalam bahasa Melayu adalah tidak salah di sisi undang - undang.
2) Kata Chun Wai lagi, ianya tidak melanggar kesucian Islam sama sekali memandangkan kitab tersebut hanya untuk umat Kristian Malaysia sahaja, justeru ia tidak perlulah ia distampingkan. Beliau turut menyatakan perkara tersebut telah pun dinyatakan di dalam perlembagaan.
3) Aku ingin bertanya kepada Wong Chun Wai, ulama UMNO dan PAS, bolehkah mereka dan pihak berkuasa memastikan pengedaran kitab tersebut tidak sampai ke tangan umat Islam Malaysia? Aku termanggu kerana aku sendiri telah mengalami pengalaman mengenai penyebaran risalah kitab Injil [berbahasa Inggeris] di kawasan rumah ku sendiri [Laman Midah Apartment, Taman Midah, Cheras, KL]. Risalah tersebut disebarkan kepada semua peti surat termasuk peti surat rumah aku.
4) Ekoran dari itu, aku telah membuat laporan polis pada 5 Februari 2011 agar pihak polis menyiasat siapakah dalang dan pihak yang bertanggungjawab terhadap penyebaran risalah tersebut.
5) Setelah dinasihat oleh pihak polis, aku juga telah melaporkan isu ini kepada pihak JAKIM bagi menjalankan siasatan susulan, memandangkan pihak JAKIM adalah merupakan pihak yang lebih bertanggungjawab dalam menjaga akidah umat Islam.
6) Sungguhpun aku berjaya membuat laporan kepada pihak JAKIM. Aku dapati pihak JAKIM hanya sekadar merupakan jabatan yang sekadar mengambil laporan sahaja, bukannya merupakan pihak yang menjalankan siasatan. Sebaliknya pihak polis yang lebih proaktif, ternampak keseriusan dalam mengambil laporan dan dalam tindakan susulannya. Malah aku difahamkan, laporan yang dibuat telah mendapat perhatian dari pihak tertinggi polis di Bukit Aman, malah polis juga telah bertindak dalam memberi tekanan kepada pihak JAKIM agar mengambil serius perkara tersebut dan bersama - sama membantu polis menjalankan siasatan.
7) Aku berasa amat pelik melihat layanan yang diberikan oleh pihak polis berbanding pihak JAKIM yang merupakan badan yang lebih khusus dalam menjalan siasatan tersebut. Mungkin pada pegawai JAKIM, jawatan yang disandang merupakan hanya jawatan "cari makan", tiada kepentingannya langsung kepada umat Islam. Yang penting cukup bulan gaji masuk. Maka tidak hairanlah, pegawai yang mengambil laporan aku, hanya sekadar mengambil laporan sahaja, tanpa memberi sebarang indikasi atau janji untuk melakukan siasatan susulan. Sebaliknya pula, pihak polis yang telah menghubungi aku sebanyak dua kali bagi mendapatkan kepastian mengenai maklumat aku sampaikan kepada pihak JAKIM, dan juga jawapan yang telah diberikan oleh pihak JAKIM kepada aku ketika laporan dibuat.
8) Berbalik kepada isu Wong Chun Wai, aku ingin bertanya kepada ulama UMNO & PAS serta Wong Chun Wai, bolehkah mereka pastikan bahawa penyebaran risalah kitab Injil tersebut tidak akan sampai ke tangan orang Melayu? Jalan terlalu nak ber retorik sangat dan bermain ayat minda seolah - olah gereja itu robot dan "magically" akan tunduk kepada arahan KDN. Kalau sekarang bukan Islam sudah berani mencabar keputusan mahkamah Syariah menghalang beliau menjadi peguam Syarie. Apa lagi yang tinggal kepada orang Islam di Malaysia ni? Habis semua ingin dirampas. Apa jenis manusia sehinggakan berfikiran komunis, semuanya di bawah perlembagaan, harus tunduk dan akur oleh semua orang.
9) Mungkin mereka harus masuk program Imam Muda dan berjumpa masyarakat. Pergi tengok di Jalan Gereja, siapa yang bagi makan percuma dan siapa pula yang pergi makan percuma di sana. Malah untuk mendaftar pengundi pun dah boleh dilakukan di gereja. Fikir dan renungkanlah.

Tribute to Gary Moore [1952 - 2011]
1) It is sad to hear that Gary Moore has past away on 6th Feb. 2011, he died on his sleep of heart attack while on holiday in Spain.
2) A musician from Belfast and then moved to Dublin at the age of 16,his early musical influences were artists such as BB King, Elvis Presley, The Shadows,The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.
3) In 1968 Gary Moore join Skid Row, with this group he earned a reputation in music industry and his association with Phil Lynott began.He also had membership with Irish rock band Thin Lizzy on three separates occasion.
4) Gary Moore is well known with his blues style guitar playing and with a series of rock records.
5) Although I am not huge fan of him though I am have his Cd's in my possession, I am still regard him as someone who has contributed greatly to music industry, either during 60's or 70's or 80's or even present day.

Sympathy to Japan
1) I wish to express my sympathy to Japan over the earthquake that has strucked them recently. At magnitude of 8.9 Richter scale, it was enough to cause a tsunami which later hit Northeastern coast of Japan. Of course, it was really a huge disaster to its entire nation. I was informed that this is the biggest earthquake that has ever experienced by Japan in 140 years.
2) I hope the Japanese would stay calm, be united and recover soon. After all, Japan has shown a great recovery after lost to Allies armies lead by USA in World War II and rose from the ashes of atomic bomb that struck Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, and being the world second largest economy.
3) The lesson from this history is enough to guide Japan to move on, indeed they have enough resources to get things back to normal, since the lesson they had in 1945 was far superior than this earthquake.

Politik Hasad Dengki - Modal Politik Zaman Sekarang
1) Orang Melayu memang terkenal sebagai bangsa yang mempunyai sifat cemburu dan hasad dengki yang tinggi. Sifat tersebut secara jelas dan terbuka diadaptasikan dalam dunia politik Malaysia secara meluas.
2) Untuk menarik minat dan perhatian orang ramai, ahli politik telah memainkan unsur cemburu dan dengki dalam modal politik masing - masing. Sebagai contoh, Anwar Ibrahim telah menuduh anak - anak Tun Dr. Mahathir telah memperoleh kekayaan ketika bapanya menjadi PM. Beliau telah menggambarkan betapa mewah dan kayanya Mokhzani [anak Tun Dr. M] sehinggakan beliau telah menjadi antara 20 orang terkaya di Malaysia. Sedangkan beliau terlupa terdapat 17 orang lagi dari kalangan 20 orang tersebut yang merupakan bukan dari keturunan Melayu. Ini hanya bertujuan untuk menaikkan perasaan cemburu dan hasad dengki di kalangan rakyat Malaysia [terutama sekali bangsa Melayu], dengan menggambarkan kejayaan dan kekayaan yang dikecapi bukanlah atas titik peluh beliau, tetapi kerana beliau anak PM.
3) Rumah Nik Aziz [yang buruk] pula sering dibandingkan dengan rumah - rumah menteri UMNO / BN [yang besar dan mewah], beliau sering digambarkan sebagai seorang yang "low profile" sebagai perbandingan dengan pemimpin parti pemerintah. Disebabkan oleh desakan dan dakyah oleh pemimpin politik pembangkang dan juga dari penyokong parti pembangkang, maka rata - rata orang Melayu dan rakyat Malaysia yang lain telah termakan dengan dakyah tersebut. Kenapa mereka boleh termakan dengan dakyah tersebut? Ia jelas disebabkan oleh perasaan hasad dengki yang menebal dalam diri masing - masing, lalu mereka gagal berfikir. Terima bulat - bulat tanpa soal selidik, tanpa cuba mendengar dari sebelah pihak yang satu lagi, lalu tenggelam dibuai kepercayaan yang didorongi oleh perasaan hasad dengki tersebut. Akhirnya, mereka telah membenarkan diri dibohongi oleh segala fitnah dan dakyah manusia yang jelas cemburu yang mempunyai niat di sebaliknya.
4) Perasaan bangga dan bersyukur sedikit sebanyak telah terhakis dek oleh perasaan cemburu dan dengki tersebut. Inilah faktor yang sering menghalang pembangunan bangsa Melayu, yang menghalang orang Melayu untuk berjaya. Jika terdapat orang Melayu yang berjaya di kalangan kita, akan terdapatlah di kalangan kita yang cuba menggagalkan usaha sahabat sebangsa kita tersebut. Bermacam - macam cara bakal dilakukan, samaada secara halus atau secara kejam. Ilmu hitam adalah salah satu caranya jika cara halus gagal.
5) Ia telah mengingatkan ku tentang satu kisah yang pernah berlaku di kampung ku, terdapat dua jiran yang sama - sama berniaga ikan. Suatu hari isteri jiran tersebut telah mengalami satu penyakit misteri, lalu beliau telah pergi mendapatkan ubat dan nasihat dari bomoh. Bomoh tersebut telah mendakwa penyakit yang dihadapi oleh isteri beliau disebabkan oleh perbuatan orang yang cemburu akan kejayaan mereka. Lalu tanpa berfikir panjang beliau telah menuduh jiran beliau yang bertanggungjawab menyebabkan isteri beliau sakit. Maka bermulalah episod bermasam muka antara mereka, sehinggakan jiran beliau tidak lagi sanggup melalui jalan yang berhadapan rumah beliau. Akhirnya jiran beliau serta jiran - jiran yang lain telah membuat jalan baru yang tidak melalui hadapan rumah beliau. Arwah telah kembali ke Rahmatullah ketika dalam keadaan permusuhan dengan jiran - jirannya yang lain.
6) Malah Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz ketika cuba menghalang pendedahan senarai orang yang mendapat permit AP untuk penjualan kereta import, beliau telah mengugut akan turut mendedahkan nama anak Tun Dr. Mahathir yang turut tersenarai di kalangan orang yang mendapat permit AP tersebut. Ini hanya sekadar bertujuan untuk menutup kelemahan dan kesilapan beliau sendiri, bahawa sebenarnya terdapat ramai di kalangan yang mendapat AP tersebut merupakan kenalan rapat beliau yang terdiri dari bekas kakitangan beliau yang jelas merupakan Ali Baba sahaja.
7) Inilah polemik yang melanda orang Melayu ketika ini. Kita sering menggunakan alasan dengan menuduh orang lain untuk menutup kesalahan diri sendiri. Elemen hasad dengki dan provokasi cemburu bakal digunakan untuk menutup kesalahan diri sendiri. Maka orang Melayu akan mudah terpengaruh dengan dakyah tersebut kerana bangsa Melayu memang terkenal mempunyai perasaan hasad dengki dan cemburu yang amat tebal dalam diri.
2) Untuk menarik minat dan perhatian orang ramai, ahli politik telah memainkan unsur cemburu dan dengki dalam modal politik masing - masing. Sebagai contoh, Anwar Ibrahim telah menuduh anak - anak Tun Dr. Mahathir telah memperoleh kekayaan ketika bapanya menjadi PM. Beliau telah menggambarkan betapa mewah dan kayanya Mokhzani [anak Tun Dr. M] sehinggakan beliau telah menjadi antara 20 orang terkaya di Malaysia. Sedangkan beliau terlupa terdapat 17 orang lagi dari kalangan 20 orang tersebut yang merupakan bukan dari keturunan Melayu. Ini hanya bertujuan untuk menaikkan perasaan cemburu dan hasad dengki di kalangan rakyat Malaysia [terutama sekali bangsa Melayu], dengan menggambarkan kejayaan dan kekayaan yang dikecapi bukanlah atas titik peluh beliau, tetapi kerana beliau anak PM.
3) Rumah Nik Aziz [yang buruk] pula sering dibandingkan dengan rumah - rumah menteri UMNO / BN [yang besar dan mewah], beliau sering digambarkan sebagai seorang yang "low profile" sebagai perbandingan dengan pemimpin parti pemerintah. Disebabkan oleh desakan dan dakyah oleh pemimpin politik pembangkang dan juga dari penyokong parti pembangkang, maka rata - rata orang Melayu dan rakyat Malaysia yang lain telah termakan dengan dakyah tersebut. Kenapa mereka boleh termakan dengan dakyah tersebut? Ia jelas disebabkan oleh perasaan hasad dengki yang menebal dalam diri masing - masing, lalu mereka gagal berfikir. Terima bulat - bulat tanpa soal selidik, tanpa cuba mendengar dari sebelah pihak yang satu lagi, lalu tenggelam dibuai kepercayaan yang didorongi oleh perasaan hasad dengki tersebut. Akhirnya, mereka telah membenarkan diri dibohongi oleh segala fitnah dan dakyah manusia yang jelas cemburu yang mempunyai niat di sebaliknya.
4) Perasaan bangga dan bersyukur sedikit sebanyak telah terhakis dek oleh perasaan cemburu dan dengki tersebut. Inilah faktor yang sering menghalang pembangunan bangsa Melayu, yang menghalang orang Melayu untuk berjaya. Jika terdapat orang Melayu yang berjaya di kalangan kita, akan terdapatlah di kalangan kita yang cuba menggagalkan usaha sahabat sebangsa kita tersebut. Bermacam - macam cara bakal dilakukan, samaada secara halus atau secara kejam. Ilmu hitam adalah salah satu caranya jika cara halus gagal.
5) Ia telah mengingatkan ku tentang satu kisah yang pernah berlaku di kampung ku, terdapat dua jiran yang sama - sama berniaga ikan. Suatu hari isteri jiran tersebut telah mengalami satu penyakit misteri, lalu beliau telah pergi mendapatkan ubat dan nasihat dari bomoh. Bomoh tersebut telah mendakwa penyakit yang dihadapi oleh isteri beliau disebabkan oleh perbuatan orang yang cemburu akan kejayaan mereka. Lalu tanpa berfikir panjang beliau telah menuduh jiran beliau yang bertanggungjawab menyebabkan isteri beliau sakit. Maka bermulalah episod bermasam muka antara mereka, sehinggakan jiran beliau tidak lagi sanggup melalui jalan yang berhadapan rumah beliau. Akhirnya jiran beliau serta jiran - jiran yang lain telah membuat jalan baru yang tidak melalui hadapan rumah beliau. Arwah telah kembali ke Rahmatullah ketika dalam keadaan permusuhan dengan jiran - jirannya yang lain.
6) Malah Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz ketika cuba menghalang pendedahan senarai orang yang mendapat permit AP untuk penjualan kereta import, beliau telah mengugut akan turut mendedahkan nama anak Tun Dr. Mahathir yang turut tersenarai di kalangan orang yang mendapat permit AP tersebut.
