1) The recent polemics on the appointment of Datuk Khusrin Munawi as chief state secretary of Selangor really annoying.
2) The recent update by the The Star suggested that there were 3 candidates presented by federal government to Selangor Sultan for his consideration and consent. It was in line with federal constitution provision as explicitly explained in UMNO Online, clearly it was under federal government jurisdiction, disobeyed it would render federal government for offence against federal constitution, which is very serious matter.
3) Bear in mind, the appointment of other states chief secretary including Penang also under jurisdiction of federal government. Kelantan since 1990 under PAS rule never had the same problem as Selangor state has. It makes me wonder, why the current Selangor state government was so eager to change the state constitution? What they are trying to achieve? Are they have somethings to hide? All these questions had crossed my mind when looking at them panicking since they noted on the appointment of Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi as state chief secretary. After all, the salary remittance of chief states secretary are under federal government responsibility, then why are they afraid of? Since they don't even have to pay the state chief secretary salary, they should be thankful to federal government for willingly to pay salary of their chief state secretary.
4) I would like to highlight also on the their chances of amending the state constitution, how they are going to achieve it without two third majority in legislative assembly sitting (without Selangor Sultan consent)? Let wait and see how.
